CLASS EXPECTATIONS & SAFETY

Students that are unable to abide by our safety rules and class expectations may be removed from the program. We work hard to create a positive and safe environment for children of all ages and capabilities to participate in our programs. In cases were a student finds it challenging to remain with their class, listen to their coach and participate safely, we will ask you for additional assistance. This includes, but is not limited to, a parent remaining on site during class or a one-on-one aide (provided by the family) to attend class weekly with the student. Students must be able to participate independently, listen to their coach and stay with their class. This ensures a safe and productive learning environment for all students.

ATTIRE

Hair needs to be pulled back, no jewelry, no socks or shoes. No baggy clothing or denim. Please have you student in a leotard or athletic wear/tight-fitting clothing

TRIAL CLASSES

Trial classes can only be done in Parent & Tot, Preschool or Pre-K. To schedule a trial class, please call our front desk at 224-504-2912. Please remember, a trial does not secure your placement in a class.

WAITLISTS

We do not offer Waitlists. Although your account may show that you’ve been added to a waitlist, we do not offer them. Students on waitlists will be dropped. If you’re trying to enroll in a class that appears red and is full—we recommend finding an alternative day/time as we do not maintain waitlists.

EVALUATIONS

New families to VHG must schedule an evaluation to determine which class is appropriate for your child. Please create an account on our Family Portal and call our front desk to schedule an evaluation. If your student is a beginner, we suggest taking a Girls Rec 1 or Tumbling Level 1 class.

DROP-OFFS

In our Parent & Tot class, we require one parent to stay and engage in class. In our Preschool, Pre-K and Mini Pre-Team, we require one parent to stay. In our Kindergarten classes and Jr. Pre-Team, it is optional to have one parent stay. For all Pre-Team, other Team Programs, and Recreational/Tumbling classes it is drop-offs only.

MAKE-UP CLASSES

We do not offer Make-Up classes for any reason, including but not limited to illness, injury, vacation or other personal commitments. We do not issue credits or refunds for missed classes.

INJURIES

If your child is injured or ill and unable to attend classes for a period exceeding one month, please email our business manager a doctor’s note outlining the condition and expected recovery time. Once we receive the doctor’s note, we will provide a 50% reduction in your monthly tuition to hold your child’s spot in the class during their absence.

This policy is designed to support families during extended absences while ensuring your child’s place remains reserved.

Alternatively, if you prefer not to pay the redacted tuition to hold your spot, you may cancel enrollment per our cancellation policy by emailing info@vhgymnastics.com. When your student is ready to return, you can re-enroll in any available class listed in green. Please note, we cannot guarantee the original day or time of your previous class.

BILLING PROCESS

2025-2026 Yearly Session

We are on a monthly billing cycle for our classes. Monthly tuition is billed on the 15th of each month. Monthly tuition is calculated based on enrollment throughout the session. Holiday and Gym Closures have been factored into the set monthly tuition price and the number of classes in attendance will vary month to month.

2025 Summer Session

Your class will not continue into, or out of, our Summer Session. You must enroll in our Summer Session—an 8-week session—that is not billed monthly. Tuition for the full 8-week session is due upon enrollment.

Any student enrolling in more than one class will receive a 20% discount on any additional class. Any siblings enrolled will receive a 10% discount. Discounts and coupons cannot be combined.

CANCELLATIONS

2025-2026 Yearly Session

All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to info@vhgymnastics.com and received NO LATER than the 14th of the month to avoid being charged on the 15th.

Q: If I cancel in writing on the 14th of the month, when will my child’s last class be?
A: If you cancel on the 14th, that is the end of your child’s enrollment. You will not be charged on the 15th.

If you cancel before the 14th, your child may attend their regular weekly class that falls before the 14th. After that, their enrollment ends, and you will not be charged for the next tuition cycle starting on the 15th.

2025 Summer Session & Summer Camps

Cancellations must be finalized before June 1st, 2025 to receive a full refund. After June 1st, there will be no refunds given.
